Navajo jeweler, Rita Largo, made these sterling silver turquoise earrings with two sterling eagle feathers that dangle from the bottom,  The turquoise color is actually a darker teal turquoise color that was difficult to capture in the photo.

Eagle feathers are sacred to Native American people.  The eagle flies closest to the Creator and sees everything happening below.  The people pray with eagle feathers with the understanding that the feathers will take the prayers to the Creator.  Eagle feathers should not be dropped on the ground, but if they are, they are blessed before being used again.
