A signet ring for the ages! This 18k yellow gold merchant seal platinum backed is set on a 18k yellow gold band. The engraving includes a merchant ship, grapes, and a nautical star along with the initials MW. We like to imagine it was once owned by an old European vintner. Circa 1700-1750. Setting measures 15.5mm tall by 12mm wide. Band width is 2.25mm.
